The dragons of mythology have long held a special fascination and cultural significance to Malatorans; for many this predates the Malatora project itself. For some, the image of the dragon symbolizes the inherent strength of character, fortitude, and honor that Malatoran culture aspires to uphold. For others, the dragon has much deeper personal and spiritual significance. There are a great many reasons - if you ask ten would-be dragons, expect no fewer than a dozen answers.
Many Malatorans hope that the Cytran Project will one day grant them the ability to physically transform into dragons, so that they may better express their individuality and live in peace. These individuals currently make plans for, and eagerly await, that day of rebirth. They remain strong advocates of the Cytran Project.
Why dragons? Why not - that's what our citizens want.
